Canada: Rapid Response 2017 Alzheimer’s and Related Diseases   Hello,    I am writing on behalf of the Weston Brain Institute, which supports translational research to accelerate the development of therapeutics for neurodegenerative diseases of aging.  We are pleased to launch the Canada: Rapid Response 2017 program for Alzheimer’s and related diseases.   Please share this message with your colleagues and researchers.
Program Overview	Seed funding for novel, high-risk, high-reward translational research ideas to catalyze the development of safe and effective treatments for neurodegenerative diseases of aging.
Funding	Up to $200,000 over up to 18 months
Disease Groups	This program is run through alternating disease-focused calls
	PD-related diseases: PD, PSP, LBD, MS, prodromes, and vascular contributions to the listed diseases   Closing May 9th		AD-related diseases: AD, FTD, MCI, prodromes, and vascular contributions to the listed diseases   Now Open
Eligibility	Principal applicants must be at or above the level of postdoctoral researcher and at a CRA qualified institution located in Canada. Project must involve the development of a therapeutic and/or a tool to help accelerate the development of therapeutics for neurodegenerative diseases of aging
