Fractal Image Compression of Bitmap: A Naïve Approach

I produced a simple application to perform fractal image compression.

My report.

Please note that users of Windows 95 and 98 willl experience "strange behavior" because the program was originally an activex control that I embedded into an MFC application. Apparently Windows 95 and 98 have trouble routing messages when the application is built this way. Hopefully I will have a better version posted to the link below. Users of Windows 2000 and XP beta should not have this problem (not sure about ME).
