Reminder regarding upcoming NSERC Discovery Grant NOI due Monday August 1, 2016 by 5pm PST. Although Monday August 1, 2016 is BC Day, this is still NSERC's deadline to submit your NOI because NSERC only recognizes federal statutory holidays. Therefore the deadline August 1, 2016 by 5pm PST set by NSERC is firm.
Discovery Grants
The Discovery Grants Program supports ongoing programs of research (with long-term goals) rather than a single short-term project or collection of projects. These grants recognize the creativity and innovation that are at the heart of all research advances.
-Notification of Intent is due at the agency for 1 AUG 2016; applicant is to submit NOI directly to NSERC, not ORS.
-An SFU signature sheet is not required for the NOI, however a fully signed SFU signature sheet is due by the ORS internal deadline for the full application stage on 25 OCT 2016.
-Full application is due for the ORS internal deadline on 25 OCT 2016, applications must be in submit mode by this date in order to receive an internal review, the agency deadline is
