Location
Surface Canada 2011 will take place at the Burnaby campus of Simon Fraser University. A relatively young campus, SFU first opened its doors to students in September of 1965. This is one of three campuses comprising SFU, the others being in Downtown Vancouver and Surrey, BC.

Situated atop Burnaby Mountain, the Burnaby campus sits on the doorstep of one of the largest parklands in the Greater Vancouver Area and in proximity to UniverCity, a sustainable urban community. The local area also offers many attractions within Burnaby:
