Industry Council for Aboriginal Business (ICAB) Leadership Exchange

The ICAB Leadership Exchange program focuses on an engagement in leadership where both Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people prosper together. Cooperativeness, equality, truth and integrity form the program's core — fundamental practices whose aim is to promote respectful and ethical business dealings. A first in Canada, the Leadership Exchange program provides a unique opportunity for participants to foster mutual respect and understanding through developing insights into the values that influence business related decision-making processes.

Participants in the ICAB Leadership Exchange program typically hold a leadership role within a company or community that deals with Aboriginal/corporate relations in British Columbia. They are teamed up with exchange partners, with assistance from LSG facilitators, to create a deeper understanding of key issues while providing a safe, experience-rich and personal exchange of knowledge.
