DESIGN UPDATE
A recent cost estimate update was prepared based on the latest design of the new building. Unstable market conditions and supply chain issues continue to impact construction costs. The project team is assessing the situation and evaluating options to stay resilient given the circumstances.
CONSTRUCTION UPDATE
Demolition of the Strand Hall Annex temporary structure is now complete. 75% of the construction materials were recycled and diverted from the landfill on this project. Approx. 10,000 pounds of lumber were carefully removed from the site, cleared of all nails and graded for re-use.
COMMITTEE UPDATE
The next Stakeholders Group Committee is being planned this February to discuss furniture and audio-visual systems on the project.
