The Board of Governors at its meeting held on March 28, 1996, approved the following policy with respect to the contracting of University services:
That Simon Fraser University continue existing contracted services in those situations where an acceptable quality of service can be obtained at the lowest reasonable cost.
That Simon Fraser University is committed to uphold the highest standards of fairness and equity in tendering of services.
Interpretation
Questions of interpretation or application of this policy or its procedures shall be referred to the President and the Chair of the Board of Governors, who will jointly make a decision which shall be final.
