You Can Make a Difference by Supporting the SFU Parents Fund

Over the years, many parents of SFU students have provided important support to the university — parents like Betsy Gibbons.

“As a former charter student of SFU myself, I believe in education and that we have an obligation to support it. My loyalty to SFU increased when my son enrolled in SFU Business 17 years ago, and I have remained a supporter and active volunteer ever since.”

You can join Betsy by contributing to the newly established SFU Parents Fund. Designed to enhance campus life for students currently enrolled at SFU, the fund will be used to improve our libraries, boost athletics and recreation, enhance student services and support special initiatives aimed at improving the learning environment.

As tuition and fees cover only a portion of the total cost of educating SFU students, private support can make a tremendous difference.

“We’ve chosen to support the football program,” say Meg and Doug Puffer whose son plays football with the SFU Clan. “You can feel the excitement and sense of community at every home game. We think every gift makes it that much better.”

Please consider making a contribution to the SFU Parents Fund. Gifts of any size will help to ensure that students receive the very best academic and student life experience. The strength of the SFU Parents Fund will lie in the combined gifts of all SFU parents. Your participation will also send an important message to corporate donors and foundations who look for strong community support when deciding whether to make a gift.

For your convenience, you can make your gift online.
