Guests relax and enjoy some good food and conversation at the alumni dinner. Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – May 5, 2004 Forty guests attended SFU's alumni reception in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The event was held at the Canadian High Commission's Official Residence. Guests included President Michael Stevenson, Dr. Ernie Love, Dean of SFU's Faculty of Business, the Canadian High Commissioner Melvyn MacDonald and Mrs. Diane MacDonald. SFU Malaysian alumnus and honorary degree recipient, Kooi Ong Tong (left) attended the gathering and asked alumni to join him in contributing toward the new Segal Graduate School of Business being built in downtown Vancouver. Tong has issued a challenge to international alumni to help create an International Strategy Room in the Segal School: He will match all donations up to $250,000 from international alumni.
