On May 31, SFU alumni and members of the Downtown Alumni Group met at SFU Harbour Centre to learn how to develop and manage projects with Priority Management, a Vancouver–based training organization that trains Fortune 600 corporations worldwide. Communication Co-op Alumni Event - March 2, 2006
Over 60 communications co-op alumni attended their 4th annual gathering at the Balthazar Restaurant & Lounge. Communications grad Angela Koulyras, BA '00, brought greetings on behalf of the Alumni Association Board of Directors. Everyone enjoyed catching up with each other and meeting some new faces too.

Toronto Alumni & Friends Event - October 26, 2006
On the evening of October 26, Dr. Michael Stevenson, SFU President and Vice-Chancellor, hosted alumni and guests at a special reception at the Blue Dot Gallery in the Distillery District of Toronto. The crowd of over 120 enjoyed a selection of hors d'oeuvres and BC wines while enjoying contemporary artwork from around the world. President Stevenson also shared the latest news from SFU. Discover SFU Open House - June 3, 2006
Thousands of visitors joined us on June 3 for Discover SFU, a one–day event showcasing SFU as an exciting locus of learning, teaching and research, and as a major contributor to its surrounding communities. The Burnaby campus hosed an information and education fair with 100+ interactive displays. Events and activities were presented throughout the day, including entertainment, food, and fun for the kids.
