MBA Tune Up - November 8, 2007
MBA alumni enjoyed an afternoon of professional development, education, networking and lunch. This year's presenting professors were Dr. Dave Thomas speaking on "Managing Multicultural and Global Teams", Dr. Rick Iverson speaking on "Workplace Safety", and Dr. Carolyn Egri speaking on "Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility - how Canadian organizations compare with others around the world". After the session, guests adjourned to the Wine Reception for a relaxing end to the evening.
MBA Alumni Dinner - January 25, 2007
MBA alumni gathered for dinner on Thursday, January 25 to hear featuring keynote speaker Peter Robinson, CEO of Mountain Equipment Co-op, who spoke on "Corporate Social Responsibility".

Dr. Warren Gill, Vice-President University Relations, welcomed charter alumni to a reception at the Totems to Turquoise exhibition featuring native North American jewellry. Alumni and friends of SFU hit the greens at Swan-e-Set in Pitt Meadows in September for the SFU Alumni & Friends Golf Tournament, raising over $20,000 for student scholarships and bursaries.
