About the Exhibit
The exhibit examines material culture: how the things people make reflect their worldview and their lives. It explores five key themes:
- The cultural meaning of objects
- Jewelry as a window into culture
- Worldview/environments inspire artists
- Traditions change over time
- Personal and collective identity
