This spring’s lecture series, Justice Beyond National Boundaries, promises to be equally intriguing, as renowned speakers explore the issues that a theory of global justice must address. Speakers’ presentations are open to the entire university community. Discuss success stories, strategies and techniques, personal perspectives and advice in the areas of career development. Ideas include: career exploration, transition, networking, interview preparation, personal branding, social media, exploring the non-profit sector, and more! [Submit your proposal - Word doc] Robbie Burns Day Marathon Reading January 25 SFU’s Centre for Scottish Studies is again organizing a Marathon Recitation of Burns's Poetry and Song on January 25 from 9am to 4pm at the Harbour Centre campus. The goal is to break last year’s record of the longest continuous recitation of Burns' work: 4 hours, 9 minutes and 24 seconds! Come out and read or sing your favourite work by Burns – or one can be supplied as well. The reading will be supplemented by piping, traditional food as well as other forms of entertainment.
