Award recipients include Dr. Rolf Mathewes (BSc '69), James Chi Ming Pau (EARTS '84), Dr. Nadine Caron (BSc '93), and Graham Muir (MA '82). Among the 28 entries were artistic, reflective and thought-provoking photos that all centered upon SFU’s “Thinking of the World” tagline. [View the Photos] [Sponsor: Leader Frames] Celebrating SFU Authors: Invitation To Submit Works Published In 2011 For the past four years, the SFU Library has hosted an annual event celebrating SFU faculty, students, staff, alumni and retired university community members who have authored or co-authored a book, or its equivalent. Submissions are currently being accepted until February 1, 2012 for works published in 2011. A reception to mark the accomplishments of SFU authors will be held March 20 from 3:30 – 5:00pm. Businesses will leave with strategies on maximizing possibilities in a multigenerational workplace while youth leave with an increased understanding of their role in the job market. These topics and more will be addressed at this conference, which takes an interactive, participant-focused approach, January 20.
