2008 Outstanding Alumni Awards - Call for Nominations
If you know an SFU graduate who deserves recognition for their extraordinary achievements, consider nominating them for a 2008 Outstanding Alumni Award. SFU Alumni Association Welcomes 100,000th Grad

The Alumni Association reaches a high point in its history during the June 2008 convocation ceremonies when our membership grows to over 100,000 alumni. [Learn more] about our 100,000th graduate, Krista Gerlich-Fitzgerald, and our very first graduate, Bob Thompson. Alumni Board Election – Results
Thirteen SFU alumni ran for seven vacant positions on the Alumni Association board of directors. Elections took place on Saturday, May 31 at the Annual Alumni Gathering and General Meeting. Incumbents Bill Cunningham and Rachael Froese Zamperini were re-elected to a 2nd term. Newly elected members include Sharon Blair, Derrick Chee, Chris Hilliard, Bernie Maroney and Lien Yeung. [View profiles]

SFU NOW: Nights or Weekends
Flexibly-scheduled SFU degree courses are now available on evenings and weekends at SFU’s Vancouver campus for working adults wanting to complete an undergrad degree or enroll in courses for personal or professional development. SFU NOW is designed for adults who work full-time, have several years of work experience, and who can’t access classes during the day. Classes begin Sept 2008. Next info session June 12 at 6 pm. SFU Summer Camps
Information and registration are now available online for SFU’s Summer Camps for children and youth. Program offerings include something for everyone such as athletics, recreation, outdoor adventure, music, science, computers and more. Details at www.sfu.ca/summercamps
