[View Photos] New Home For Totem Poles Two totem poles that were originally carved by the late Tsimshian artist, Ray Wesley, and erected more than three decades ago in SFU’s Naheeno Park, have been restored through funds provided by the SFU Alumni Association. The poles were welcomed to their new home outside of the SFU Office for Aboriginal Peoples in the AQ during a rededication ceremony that occurred over the summer. The Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Actuarial Program this fall. Friends and supporters of the Program are invited to a dinner banquet on November 19th at the Diamond Alumni Centre to mark this milestone. Please keep an eye on the Department’s website for details as they become available.
