5. Alumni Donors Help Create New Media Resource Centre
Donors to the Alumni Library Endowment Fund helped create a new Media Resource Centre (MRC) at SFU's WAC Bennett Library. In Fall 2006, the MRC moved to a new and expanded space on the 3rd (entrance) floor of the library. The new space allows the entire collection of art slides, films, and sound recordings to be housed together. The MRC also includes study space, audio-visual viewing equipment, a light table for organizing slides for lectures and presentations, and a new preview room for viewing videos, DVDs and 16mm films. Thank you alumni library supporters. Your generosity is greatly appreciated by students and faculty who love the new space. Find out more at http://www.lib.sfu.ca/about/collections/specificcollections/mediacollection.htm
