Victor  Leung

BSc (Chem),  1985

Victor Leung as a SFU Alumni provided his time and efforts to mentor me as a recent SFU graduate.

Victor Leung graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry in 1985. After serving 7 years as Process Chemist in a petrochemical plant in Delta, BC, Victor joined the University of British Columbia (UBC) and became one of the founding staff of the UBC Occupational Hygiene Program, serving as Laboratory Manager for the Program in between 1992 and 2003. During his stay in UBC, Victor had completed his Master of Science in Occupational Hygiene at UBC. Currently practicing as a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Victor possesses extensive health and safety, oil and gas, environmental monitoring, manufacturing, quality control, teaching, research and supervisory experience.

With extensive knowledge and experience in my field of interests Victor is able to help me to reach and achieve my goal by providing support, guidance and advice as a mentor. With his guidance, Victor was able to help me to achieve better performance on my job and to utilize my skills with confidence.

Victor, thank you for continuing your role of being an amazing role model and mentor.
