I first met Greg on the Ultimate Frisbee field and have found him to be an amazing teammate who is kind, patient, exemplifies sportsmanship, and represents the spirit of the game.
The “spirit of the game” is at the heart of Ultimate and is a crucial characteristic of our sport. With no referees, Ultimate relies on the Spirit of the Game, placing the responsibility of sportsmanship and honourable play on the players themselves; highly competitive play is encouraged, but never at the expense of mutual respect among competitors, adherence to the agreed upon rules, or the basic enjoyment of play. Greg truly embodies the “spirit of the game” and is a great role model for true sportsmanship.
Off the Ultimate field, Greg succeeds in a tough industry, enjoying the challenges and reaping the rewards as a real estate agent in the Lower Mainland. He takes the time and makes the effort to understand what his clients really want and need to help them find the property which best fits the bill. Not only does he work hard to understand what his clients want, but he also takes considerable time educating his clients; he ensures they are properly informed and understand the process of buying/selling a home. Educating his clients is something that he really enjoys and is exceptionally good at too!
In addition to educating his clients, Greg also pens an informative blog that is accessible to the general public (http://www.gregandruff.com). For the past four years, he has been educating the public on all that is real estate. From depreciation reports to mortgages to home safety tips, Greg has a talent for taking some of the most complex real estate topics and explaining them in a pleasing and uncomplicated way.
Greg is a people person who also is committed to giving back. He has coached hockey and sailing, volunteered for Theatre Under the Stars and the Ride to Conquer Cancer, hosted the 2013 Fraser Pumpkin Patch, and has been the instrumental lead in the Annual Dunbar Food Drive (raising 1000lbs + in food!)
Thank you Greg for being an amazing teammate and an incredible community member!
