Everyone knows that Jaleh likes to succeed in many facets of life. Between her initiatives on the SFU Campus to help students with their career goals and her ambitious volunteering efforts, Jaleh juggles many balls. And does it exceedingly well. She is currently working at startup in London that just raised $4m of seed funding. The London-based startup is the de-facto source of insight into real-world mobile coverage and performance directly measured from consumer devices. It increases transparency in the wireless industry and empowers people with the tools they need to get better mobile connectivity. She also serves as SFU’s alumni representative for London.
Before moving to London, Jaleh was Head Recruiter for KPMG’s campus hiring where she led recruiting efforts in Vancouver. She was responsible for organizing several large scale events including workshops that helped SFU students bridge the gap between their academic studies and work experience. As a former co-op student herself, she was also instrumental in expanding SFU’s coop program at KPMG and ensuring that students had an enjoyable, yet busy, summer experience.
Jaleh has also been an avid supporter of case competitions and business clubs on campus. She participated in JDC West, Western Canada’s largest competition, as an undergraduate student, but continued to stay involved through countless training sessions. This included coaching the tax team two years in a row and judging mock competitions.
There is no doubt that Jaleh will continue to stay actively involved with the SFU community and we look forward to seeing where life takes her next.
