Robin Prest

BASc (EnSc) ,  2006

Robin is an excellent example of an Alumnus carrying out SFU's Engagement vision.

Robin completed his Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc.) in Engineering Physics from Simon Fraser University, as well as the Semester of Dialogue from SFU's Centre for Dialogue.

Robin manages public programming at SFU's Centre for Dialogue and does an extraordinary job in bringing diverse peoples and communities together to tackle important topics that help us advance as a society. He approaches this with respect and diligence, and is conscious about ensuring all relevant voices are brought to the table. This was evident when Robin played a key role through the Centre of Dialogue's community dialogue on "Reconciling Injustices" and in bringing world-renowned author and founder of the international Charter for Compassion Karen Armstrong to Vancouver in 2012 and 2014.

Thank you Robin for helping move SFU's engagement vision forward, by contributing both to SFU and the community we are all part of!
