in the rough. Even the massive polished jade stone destined for the reflection pool has not yet got its feet wet. Specifically, it's the month of September. We're thrust into the midst of construction and frenetic activity to register as students.

Kelvin Redvers graduated from SFU's film program in 2010 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and the undergraduate Gordon Shrum Gold Medal in tow.
But his journey began much earlier.
Redvers grew up in Hay River, Northwest Territories, a town with a population of about 3,600, in the middle of nowhere.
