Thinking of the World
|
Simon Fraser University has a long tradition of international engagement and innovation. In addition to its India strategy and other regional and country-specific initiatives, current activities include alumni events; student, faculty, and staff mobility programs; international student recruitment and twinning relationships; international delivery of curricula such as dual degrees; development projects; international internships; and contract education.
President Michael Stevenson regards internationalization as critical to the modern university. His vision includes encouraging our students to explore the world through internships, field schools, and exchanges, as well as through active recruitment of international students to enhance the educational experience of all at SFU.
