Diane Finegood is on the trail of Types 1 and 2 diabetes.
"You have diabetes." This year 60,000 Canadians and 800,000 Americans will hear these words. They'll join an estimated 200 million people worldwide who already have it, including Mary Tyler Moore, Halle Barry, Elizabeth Taylor, Arthur Ashe, and Billy Jean King. Even Elvis Presley had it. If not controlled, diabetes can lead to coma, blindness, heart disease, stroke, amputation, kidney failure, and death. Why are there so many people with diabetes?

From waiting on tables to standing in the spotlight - Keith Behrman's story is a real-life Cinderella story set in a film studio. An aspiring novelist from small-town Saskatchewan, the Simon Fraser University grad discovered film was his true medium when he was 23. He then spent the next 16 years scraping together a living while financing his education and making short films and music videos.
