Derek Congram  

I have worked as a field archaeologist for the Cambridge University Archaeological Unit in the United Kingdom and as a forensic archaeologist for the United Nations in the former Yugoslavia, for the Regime Crimes Liaison Office in Iraq, for the Public Prosecutor in Costa Rica, and as a lecturer in the MSc Forensic Archaeology program at Bournemouth University in the UK.

 

Research Interests: Forensic archaeology and anthropology, grave prospection, the application of archaeology to forensic and mass disaster/fatality scenes, ethics in forensics, Human Rights, excavation of mass graves including 'robbed' graves, and Spanish civil war era graves, predictive modelling.
