Research Areas: Alberta Boreal Forest archaeology, new site identification methodologies, LiDar.                            

Introduction:

I am a graduate from the University of Calgary (BA, Archaeology, minoring in Museum and Heritage Studies). I started working in CRM in the third year of my undergrad immediately after finishing field school. This resulted  in 7 seasons of CRM experience including mitigation and survey in BC, Alberta, and Saskatchewan for small and large scale oil and gas developments and Forestry. I am currently employed as a supervising archaeologist with Circle CRM Group.

M.A. Research:

I intend to examine past and present consulting Archaeology Methodologies and their Subsequent Impact on New Site Identification using negative data from the Boreal forest.

Other Activities:  When I’m not in the field I can be found searching for the best new restaurants in town and/or planning a winter trip to somewhere warm.
