EVENKI HERDERS The Evenki are a Tungusic speaking group of reindeer herders whose range over a wide area of the trans-Baikal and indeed Siberia itself. The museum features a reconstructed Evenki camp with birch bark and hide tipis (summer and winter dwellings respectively) and examples of Evenki material culture. Here is an Evenki wooden shelter. |
