2019 Symposium: People on The Land
January 26th, 2019
Simon Fraser University, Burnaby Campus
Department of Archaeology
We would like to invite students, faculty, professionals, and the interested public to register to attend People on The Land, a symposium hosted by Simon Fraser University's Archaeology Graduate Student Caucus.
This symposium will focus on research that highlights Traditional Ecological Knowledge, as well as landscape and environmental archaeology. However, we welcome all research related to people and their relationships with the land.
The AGSC would like to open up this opportunity to the wider community to allow individuals to showcase recent works, and come together for discussion. This symposium is free and open for all to attend with RSVP.
The symposium will be held on Saturday January, 26, 2019 from 9:30am - 5:30pm at the SFU Burnaby Campus Blusson Hall 9660.
We would like to acknowledge that SFU Burnaby campus is on the traditional and unceded lands of the Musqueam, Squamish, Tsleil-Waututh and Kwikwtlem peoples.
