Anti-HST debate delayed
A 10-member legislative committee has postponed a debate on the anti-HST petition until its next meeting on Sept. 13. It can send the petition to the B.C. legislature for a vote to repeal the HST or recommend a non-binding province-wide referendum. Simon Fraser University public policy analyst Doug McArthur has followed this issue very closely and is available to comment about this delay.
