Impaired driving legislation
Following an outcry from the public plus the restaurant and bar industry, B.C. Solicitor General Rich Coleman announced yesterday he would review the new impaired driving laws that went into effect in September. Rob Gordon, director of SFU criminology, has followed this issue closely and believes police resources have been stretched too thin enforcing the new legislation.
