Next big health push?
Recent health studies have put a new focus on vitamin D for its potential ability to reduce cancers, heart diseases and other illnesses. SFU kinesiologist Tony Leyland has been following the rising attention and believes Vitamin D will become “the next big health push” over the coming year. Leyland, who takes 3,000+ IUs of the vitamin daily, specializes in exercise and nutrition and has studied the evolutionary evidence and logical arguments behind the need for more vitamin D.
