Standing up against bullying
Feb. 25 marks Pink Shirt Day – a day to stand up against bullying in schools, homes and the workplace. SFU criminologist Brenda Morrison, co-director of the Centre for Restorative Justice, and author of Restoring Safe Schools: a Whole School Response to Bullying, Violence and Alienation, studies bullying in all of its forms. She can comment on its prevalence as well as what steps are needed to reduce its impact on individuals, schools and communities.
