Parliament suspended
Governor General Michaelle Jean has granted Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s request to suspend or prorogue Parliament until late January – when a budget will be tabled. Following the story are veteran SFU political scientist Patrick Smith, public policy analyst Doug McArthur and political scientist Andrew Heard, who specializes in parliamentary procedure.
