Biggest return of salmon since 1913?
The Pacific Salmon Commission just announced its forecast for upwards of 25 million sockeye salmon to return to the Fraser River this summer. If it’s accurate, this will be the largest salmon run since 1913. SFU fish biologist John Reynolds is available to speak about this latest forecast and share his thoughts on why fish are coming back in such huge numbers in comparison to the past few years.
