UniverCity expansion
Tonight (Monday, July 26), Burnaby Council will consider a rezoning bylaw that sets the stage for 1.2 million square feet of residential density across 12 new parcels of land in the UniverCity development on Burnaby Mountain. It is also the first bylaw in North America to set defined requirements for sustainability and energy use. UniverCity director Gordon Harris is available to comment on the decision and the project.
