SFU biologist Carl Lowenberger says there’s no need for people to panic over the latest news that B.C. has another case of West Nile virus in a human. The latest is a Kelowna adult who was infected last month. Lowenberger, who was aware of this case and studies how mosquitoes transmit the virus, says the virus won’t have a chance to spread with fall and winter on the way.
