A $14 billion public transit plan announced today promises to increase ridership and play an integral role in reducing the province’s greenhouse gas emissions. The plan includes more buses, including a new RapidBus BC service and four new rapid transit lines in Metro Vancouver, including the Evergreen Line to Coquitlam and the UBC Line. SFU transportation expert Warren Gill can provide comment on the plan and its potential impact.
