Municipal vote draws interest

Vancouver goes to the polls Nov. 15 to elect a new mayor and council – advance polls are already showing an increase in voter interest. SFU political scientist Kennedy Stewart, a former political candidate, and his students plan to be out at voting stations conducting exit polls and reporting their results online. Political scientist Patrick Smith, who also specializes in municipal politics, is available to comment as well.
