Educators, policy planners, administrators, government representatives and students will explore how education can help advance B.C.'s sustainability goals at SFU's Wosk Centre for Dialogue, Vancouver, Saturday, March 31, 9 am - 4:30 pm. Participants include Charles Hopkins, UNESCO chair for education for sustainable development, York University; Gerald Farthing, Manitoba's deputy minister, education, citizenship and youth; and Moura Quayle, BC deputy minister of advanced education. There is also a public forum on the role of education in B.C.'s future, hosted by CBC Almanac host Mark Forsythe on Friday, March 30, 11:45 am - 4:30 pm at the Wosk Centre. Seating is limited for this event, which will be broadcast live on CBC Radio's B.C. Almanac beginning at noon.
