Mark Jaccard, co-author of Hot Air: Meeting Canada’s Climate Change Challenge, will talk about his new book – which ranked fourth on the Maclean’s Magazine best seller list in its first week of release – today (Oct. 11) at 3 p.m. at SFU’s Burnaby campus, room C9001.
Jaccard wrote the book - which takes an in-depth look at the climate change debate and Canada’s role – with graduate student Nic Rivers and Globe and Mail journalist Geoffrey Simpson. The book is available at the SFU Bookstore and will also be sold today during the university’s first annual sustainability festival (from 10 a.m.- 5 p.m.). See www.sustainabilityfestival.org
Jaccard’s talk is the third in SFU’s fall speaker series on climate change.
Jaccard will also sign books and give a lecture about his climate change research on Wednesday, Oct 17 at 7 p.m. at SFU’s Vancouver campus at Harbour Centre.
