Vescera has joined SFU as Fundraising Director for Special Projects in Arts
& Culture.
Vescera will be involved with the fund-raising campaign for SFU's School for Contemporary Arts, which is currently under construction as part of the Woodward's redevelopment project in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside, in addition to other projects aimed at expanding SFU's role as a major contributor to BC's arts and culture community.
Vescera brings over thirteen years of experience managing programs in arts and culture, education environment, health and youth as the Director of Programs and Special Projects for the Vancouver Foundation. He has also raised more than $25 million for the Vancouver Foundation over the past few years.
Vescera holds an MA in International Affairs from Johns Hopkins University, a graduate diploma in Renaissance History from L'Universita Degli Studi di Firenzea and a BA from UBC.
