Bullying happens at school, at work, and elsewhere in the community. Its effects on victims in all scenarios will be the focus of three free public lectures at Simon Fraser University’s Surrey campus this month. All begin at 6:30 p.m. in theatre 2600.

  • November 13: Bullying in the Workplace, featuring Neil Boyd, professor, SFU School of Criminology.
  • November 20: Bullying in the Classroom, with Shelley Hymel, professor and head of UBC’s department of educational and counselling psychology and special education.
  • November 27: Bullying in the Community, with Cpl. Rose Adrain, Surrey RCMP.
The lectures are sponsored by SFU Continuing Health Education.

Seating is limited and advance reservations are required. More information is available at www.sfu.ca/healthed, by emailing healthed@sfu.ca or calling 778.782.7451.
