Translink has restored service to the Burnaby campus, after temporarily suspending services Thursday afternoon.
Classes have been cancelled at SFU’s Burnaby campus for the remainder of the day due to changing weather conditions. The university remains open. Surrey and Vancouver campuses are not affected.
Snow fell heavily on campus during the afternoon and freezing rain is now a possibility with temperatures slowly rising to about 0 degrees Celsius on Burnaby Mountain. Motorists are advised to drive with extreme caution.
