View 3-D images that seem to fill the room. Feel your heart race as you experience a virtual rollercoaster in the Interactivity Lab.
These are just two of the many exhibits of work by faculty and students that will be showcased at an Open House for prospective students and their parents at Simon Fraser University’s Surrey campus on Wednesday March 24 from 6 to 8 p.m.
"The objective is to introduce people to programs that are offered at SFU Surrey and to present information about TechOne – a program that all first year students take which provides them with a strong foundation in technology, communications, business, art and math," says SFU Surrey’s student recruiter Matthew Grant.
Visitors will be given a guided tour by current students, and will have the chance to ask questions about the programs offered at Surrey campus, which include interactive arts and technology, computing science and business administration.
In addition to the students and faculty, student services and registration staff will be on hand to answer questions and provide information.. Food and refreshments will be served.
