On Wednesday April 14 at 9:00 am Simon Fraser University President Dr. Michael Stevenson will announce one of the largest private investments in the university’s history and a dynamic new partnership with the Whitecaps Football Club and the Canadian Soccer Association.

Joining President Stevenson will be Bob Lenarduzzi, director of soccer operations for the Whitecaps, and Andy Sharpe, president, Canadian Soccer Association.


WHEN: Wednesday, April 14, 2004, 9:00 a.m.

WHERE: Field 2 - West of Terry Fox Field, SFU Burnaby Campus

WHAT: One of the largest private investments in SFU history
and the formation of a new private/public partnership

PARKING: Access media parking as you approach SFU on Gaglardi Way by turning left onto the service road beside Terry Fox Field and driving directly to Field 2. Parking is available adjacent to the field.
