At least 33 people have been killed after a shooting at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University on Monday. It’s being described as the worst campus shooting in U.S. history.
Simon Fraser University President Michael Stevenson, in a statement to the SFU community, says, “Today's shooting at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University is a terrible tragedy, one which greatly saddens us all.
“On behalf of the entire university community I would like to extend my sincere sympathies to Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and to the families of the victims.”
