B.C. budget to be unveiled

The provincial budget will be unveiled today, Feb. 21, and SFU experts can look at what it will mean for taxpayers. Among those who can comment are:

Honouring outstanding alumni

SFU's alumni association will pay tribute to five individuals for their exemplary achievements on Tuesday, Feb. 21, at 6:45 p.m. at the Four Seasons Hotel in Vancouver.
Former SFU Chancellor Milton Wong will receive a special 40th anniversary award for service to the university. Others who will receive outstanding alumni awards include:
Burnaby aboriginal leader Kathy Louis, for community service;
Coquitlam business leader Mike Cordoba, CEO of Boston Pizza International, for professional achievement;
Canadian Olympic gold medal wrestler Daniel Igali, of Surrey, for athletic achievement;
Former Nanaimo city councillor Terry Beech, for outstanding student leadership.
