Smile, you're on YouTube...A video of Vancouver police arresting a firefighter and his son has been viewed by thousands of people on the video-sharing website YouTube, igniting a storm of controversy about what actually happened during the incident. Kate Armstrong, an instructor in the TechOne program at SFU's Surrey campus, is researching the impact of technology on social spaces and can discuss public behaviour in an era when anyone with a digital camera, videocam or cellphone can post their images online instantly. Maia Engeli, an assistant professor of interactive arts and technology, can also speak on this topic.
