Idea: Leadership after campus life...
SFU graduates from five different faculties will tell how they leverged their university experience and degree to become leaders in their fields. The free "Leadership beyond SFU" panel is open to the public and will be held at SFU Burnaby, on Wednesday, Aug. 2, from 5-7 p.m., in West Mall Complex, room 3260. Speakers include:

Issue: Are guardian angels a good idea?...
Urban crime criminologist Ray Corrado is not convinced a recent move to resuscitate the Guardian Angels movement in Vancouver will be effective: "It's a different context: Canadian cities do not face the same kinds of crime issues that major American cities deal with in their inner cities. We tend to have a lot of property crime here, and most of that is happening out of sight."
