Back to school - On the way to an A

It's academic boot camp for new students. The popular On the way to an A workshops are drawing huge audiences of students keen for help making the transition to university. Elaine Fairey, one of a list of SFU back to school experts, has a top ten list and can talk about what they need to know.

Hosted by the SFU Student Learning Commons, two one-day academic boot camps on Aug. 24 (in Surrey) and Aug. 28 (in Burnaby) will help new students make the transition to university.  The popular workshops focus on time management and offer a top 10 list of what students need to know about university writing, teamwork and communication. The workshops are offered at SFU's Burnaby and Surrey campuses. Elaine Fairey, director of the Student Learning Commons, can provide more details.
